Protection against burglary with the additional module "Alarm"

The alarm module
expands the SmartHome system with professional alarm functions. With just a few clicks, a SmartHome center and the installed components become an alarm system.
The building can be secured separately according to the interior spaces and the building shell. In addition to activating a siren, residents are informed about alarms in various ways, depending on the additional module they have booked, for example via push notification.
Attempting to manually create alarm protection for the house using scenes will quickly reach its limits due to the complexity. This alarm module provides a solution, as it bundles the necessary logic internally and makes it conveniently available.
The owner/admin initially runs through a self-explanatory wizard and only determines which of the installed components suggested by the system should be used for the alarm system. The integration into the alarm logic is then fully automatic and very easy.
Different emergency scenarios require specific alerts. With SmartFriends SmartHome, the security system can be perfectly adapted to individual needs.

Example scenario of intrusion detection
Intrusion detection process
A motion detector or a door/window contact reports a suspicious activity and thus triggers the alarm scenario.

The indoor sirens are activated and all residents present are acoustically warned or woken up. In addition, unauthorized persons are deterred by outdoor sirens.

Smart light actuators or lights are switched on and illuminate possible hiding places for the perpetrator. This scares the burglars and often drives them away.

The lights are turned on everywhere and shutters are opened. So the intruders suddenly find themselves unexpectedly on a brightly lit “stage”.
Residents receive push notifications about the triggered alarm on their smartphone, no matter where they are.

Residents can view live images on their smartphones, assess the situation themselves and alert police forces.

The police have been alerted and are on their way. The alarm has now made other neighbors aware of the break-in.

Alarm functions explained quickly

Wizzard
The wizard is used to create and configure the alarm system fully automatically.
Select semi-trained devices, answer a few questions – done.
Activate/deactivate alarm system
Manage and monitor your home security while you are far away. A distinction can be made between sharp, internally sharp and blurred. Internally armed means that you or another family member is staying at home and only the building envelope is protected.
The alarm system can be activated at any time via the app or automatically via a schedule.

Silent alarm
If you are threatened in the house, you can set off a silent alarm. Silent alarm means that existing sirens are not activated. Help is summoned unnoticed in the background.

Panic button
In an emergency, residents often don't know exactly what to do. The system continues to hold its nerve and acts in set steps. The panic button triggers an alarm, activates the sirens and sends emergency calls.
Camera integration
In the event of an alarm, all cameras take images at short intervals and archive them on the control center until the alarm is deactivated.

Notifications
The notification function allows each user to specify which messages should be sent about the status of the alarm system. Users will receive a push notification at the same time as the change.
Zone alarm
Regardless of whether it is different floors, special parts of the building such as the garage or the outdoor area, the management of different zones only allows you to blur the zone in which you are currently located.

Scope
The contacts provide information as to whether doors, windows or other access routes are open. Changes are sent to headquarters quickly and at any time. Combined with the house status, you can see at a glance whether all entrances are closed. They are a backbone of the alarm module.
Mostly work via infrared detection and detect changes in the detection area. The sensors can cover a wide area and detect movements within the area. Applications can be, for example, switching lights or detecting (unwanted) people in alarm systems.
Cameras can often detect movement themselves and capture images of possible threats. Saved images can later be used to identify the perpetrators.
Indoor and outdoor sirens alert residents via beeps and deter potential perpetrators. Many burglars run away when their presence is revealed.
In normal use, the user simply controls their light to create a feel-good ambience. With the alarm module, the user can use the light actuators and smart lights to drive away burglars or illuminate hiding places. Lights and beeps can scare away most burglars before they even get into the house.
Controllable locks can close off escape routes or enable access routes in the event of an alarm. This supports security forces that have been called.
Roller shutter actuators or smart roller shutter motors generally use time controls to secure windows and doors that burglars would often use to gain access. In the event of an alarm, roller shutters can be opened automatically, exposing burglars.
