The networked smoke detector alerts you immediately and reliably via the on-site siren if smoke develops. In the event of a fire, it forwards the signal to all integrated smoke detectors. If you are out and about, the smoke detector informs you via push notification on your smartphone. Smoke detection process
One of the smoke alarms detects the formation of smoke and triggers the "Fire" alarm.
The indoor sirens are activated and all residents present are warned acoustically, even where no smoke alarm beeps.
Smart light actuators or lights are switched on and illuminate possible escape routes.
Integrated locks are unlocked and roller shutters are raised. This opens escape routes and allows rescue workers access.
Residents receive push notifications about the triggered alarm on their cell phones, no matter where they are.
Residents can view a live image on their cell phone and assess the situation themselves and alert emergency services.
Rescue workers have been alerted and are on their way. Now you have to make sure that no one is in your home anymore.
Wizard
The module has a setup assistant (wizard) that uses the already trained devices based on the device type for predefined switching sequences and alarm routines. The user is guided through a few questions during the configuration process and receives a sensibly configured system at the end of the process.
Modular
The SmartFriends system is modular in all areas. The functions of the system can be expanded using software modules. The alarm module can be expanded via time profiles, zones or authorizations. The push notification function provides important information about critical situations in real time so you can react early. With RemoteHome and the integration of cameras, authorized residents can keep an eye on their home from anywhere in the world.

With the integrated ZigBee and Z-Wave protocols in the Smart Friends system, many devices from well-known manufacturers can be used out of the box. The components offered by the system partners are tested for correct cooperation. With this variety of different device types, you can design your SmartHome the way you want.
Notifications 24/7
You will be informed about an alarm anywhere in the world and at any time. With push notifications, you receive a message on your mobile device (smartphone or tablet) a few seconds after an alarm is triggered. With existing cameras, you can take a picture of your home from a distance.

Scope
Smoke alarms detect increased smoke development in the room where they are installed. They not only emit an acoustic signal when smoke is detected.
You can use cameras to monitor important rooms in your home. If a fire breaks out, you can get an impression of the situation using the live images from the integrated cameras. You can use the images to see smoke development and flame formation and decide on further measures.
Indoor and outdoor sirens alert residents via a signal tone and, combined with smoke alarms, startle those present. Indoor sirens are often louder than the signals from a smoke alarm.
In normal use, the user simply controls their light to create a feel-good ambience. With the alarm module, the user can use the light actuators and smart lights to illuminate possible escape routes. This way you can stay safer.
Controllable locks can be opened automatically in the event of an alarm such as a fire. This means rescue workers have easier access to the endangered area and you can get outside to safety with your loved ones without any problems
Roller shutter actuators or smart roller shutter motors generally use time controls to secure windows and doors that burglars would often use to gain access. If smoke alarms are detected, you can automatically open the roller shutters and thus open possible escape routes.
